Senior Skip Day...for real?

Yup, it was my turn to partake in the Annual Senior Skip Day at my school today! And no, this isn't on our own, it's done by the school. Bur hey, I'm okay with it!

Today was so random, literally. My best friends, Maggie and Sarah, started our day by going to Silverlake. We had a little snack at The Coffee Table, which is apparently hiring so I have to get on top of that really soon! Then, we drove to Amoeba Records store for a bit, and then to The Grove. We had Chipotle for lunch, and walked around, mostly in Gap. It was hard, considering I have no money to spend on clothes and the Gap had stocks of amazing selections.

We got ready to leave, when I realize I don't have the parking validation. So, we checked our pockets, wallets, and even under the seats in my car, but it was no where! Sarah and I walked back to the desk and told them the situation. She replied, "Well, that's gonna be $25". WHAT?! Are you kidding me?! Thankfully, she asked what we did and told her we ate at Chipotle, but she asked for the receipt to it. She checked in and my license, and said, "Okay, how about I just charge you $12, is that fair?" I was surprised she was nice to us, considering she was snooty, rude, and kept rolling her eyes. So, I paid and we left, and went all the way to Burbank for some Pinkberry for Maggie. After that, we dropped her off at school for something, and Sarah and I went back to her house to hang out.

So being random is so much fun, especially with your best friends! Oh, also, the bonfire was actually fun, and I gained weight at my grandma's birthday dinner yesterday!

This week, I must buy my prom ticket and sign up for L.A.T.T.C.

Kind of weird

Graduation is getting closer and closer! Weird thinking about it. Also, I still need to apply to L.A.T.T.C. for this coming fall!

This week hasn't been too bad, but I'm still tired like everyday. Next couple of weeks hopefully won't be too hectic, even though the year is coming to a close. Good thing is Monday is the seniors' ditch day (it's done by the school, really) and tonight is the senior bonfire at Huntington Beach. Kind of excited just to be with my friends, but not really to be near the people I don't like in my class; but whatever, I'll deal with it. Random post, but whatever haha!

Any sleep tonight?

Since I watched Sorority Row tonight!

Well, it's actually a pretty crappy, horror movie. But the thing is, I get scared pretty easily, so I usually don't watch scary movies. Anyways, watched it and closed my eyes and screamed at the "murder" parts, but laughed out loud at the acting and the things said in that movie. Pretty rich stuff! So, it's a good movie to watch with friends when you hang out with them. Also, I loved how Audrina Patridge (from The Hills) was in it, then killed within the first 15 minutes!

Today was not too bad. Woke up kind of late, ate, did some homework, played Wii, went to Family Fun Fair at school for choir, went to BJ's for pazookies, went home, went over to Katie's house, had a photoshoot, ate, watched Sorority Row, and a little of The Hangover. It was a pretty fun night with some old friends, Katie, Lele, and Nadia. I missed them and can't wait to hang out with them more :)

Lazy is my new best friend

It kind of sucks haha!

Yes, it's been some time that I have blogged, but I've been caught up with more of Facebook and Tumblr. But I will try to post more on this blog.

Anyways, I've been pretty busy after my play, Willy Wonka. I had a lot of projects due that week, then I had my choir tour to San Diego for the weekend, then I left for my spring break with my school to Mexicali for my missions trip. And I must say I've had such amazing times on both trips :)

The choir tour was a quick get-a-way for the weekend to perform in a national festival for the arts. We got there Thursday and left Sunday. We basically (in order) served at small church for recovering addicts, went to the beach, went to the Gas-Lamp District, performed for the festival, Buca Di Beppo, Sea World, asked my B.F.F. (we're just friends haha) to prom at Sea World, sang at the same church, then left for home. I was sad it was a quick trip but it was still full of memories with my amazing friends and the whole choir :)

Mexicali was probably, by far, the best trip ever! We arrived on April 2, and had a relaxing day, also the next day was the same. Our first actual day of missions work was Easter Sunday. My group went to a little church called Rios de Agua Viva, and we played, taught, and sang with the kids. We went back to camp to relax, when all of a sudden the ground was shaking. Soon it got bigger and wouldn't stop for a minute. Thankfully, our camp was in the middle of nowhere, but everything we had was shaking violently! Luckily, no one got hurt at our camp, but we lost power and water pressure for sometime. We later found out that we survived a 7.2 earthquake, which was absolutely crazy. I was able to call my parents for like 2 minutes because I knew they would be freaking out haha! Then, there was a windstorm that night, and it felt that we were going to leave. But we ended up roughing it out and stayed for our main purpose: to serve and help these children and families in this poor country. We continued the same work throughout the week, and we all became better friends with the kids and even each other. It was our last official day on Thursday, the 8th, and that was probably the hardest day ever. Since I'm a senior, I had to say goodbye to the church, the pastor, and kids, not knowing when I'll ever be back. When I said my goodbye's to my little friend, Zukey, I couldn't contain myself and I broke down. Later, we said goodbye to the rest of everyone and most of our group broke down. We finally came back the next day, excited to see our families.

That trip has helped me to realize how blessed I really am with the people in my life. My family is absolutely the best, my friends are the greates, and even my new friends are so much fun! I miss everyone back in Mexicali, but I make sure to pray for the church, the pastor, and Zukey. I hope to go again next year :)

Well, that was basically my life the past couple of weeks. The next couple of weeks will be memorable, as graduation is literally 7 weeks away! HOLY CRAP! Upcoming events for me contain the VRDC Improv Musical tonight, Senior Ditch Day, Prom, Disneyland Grad-Night, Graduation, and more (I can't remember the rest haha!).
