Boo to everyone!

I signed myself and aunt, Ely, up to win red carpet bleacher seats
for the 2010 Oscars, about a week ago.
And we both got an email saying we didn't win :/
We really wanted to go 'cause we love celebrities and fashion!

Oh well, maybe next year.

It's effing hot outside!!
Can't wait till it cools down next week.

Bye now :)

Can you say Precious?

Why yes i can, actually!

Recently, Beyonce did her Sasha Fierce concert to a big crowd at Sydney, Australia.
During her show, she brought up an 11 year old girl who attended, and
who, sadly, happens to be suffering from leukemia; but wanted to see Beyonce perform!
Beyonce was so moved by her and wanted to sing Halo to her onstage.

This is probably one the sweetest things I have seen in awhile,
like I was tearing up when I saw this!

And this got me thinking about how in the midst of suffering and pain in our world,
there really still is love and beauty; and we need to be the people to give it those who may be in pain or need some hope!
So let's stop hating and help people in pain!

For example, I signed up to do the AIDS Walk on October 18,
to help find a cure for AIDS/HIV!
So you should do it too!

Bye now <3

Sooo true!

Well, as you know I went to New York City a couple weeks ago.
While I was there, soooooo many people came up to my dad and I
seeing if we want "cheap" tickets to a comedy show
or a bus tour,
and it got soooooo annoying!

Well, iJustine, a pretty big blogger and YouTuber,
is in New York City right now and posted a video about being annoyed by
the same people!
I enjoyed it because it's totally true!
So here :]

Goodness, it's hot!

Bye now!

o people...

...how much they can suck!

Yeah, I'm still a little upset at Kanye's "attention whore" episode
during Taylor Swift's acceptance speech.
I'm happy they told him to leave!
But Beyonce is amazing for letting Taylor continue her speech!
She's the best DIVA ever!!

And Kanye doesn't know what an actual apology is...
...what a douchebag!
I'm gonna watch him on Jay Leno tonight and boo him!

Also, sad news today!
Patrick Swayze passed away after battling cancer for 2 years.
Very upsetting, he was a great actor, and he'll be missed very much!

Getting off track again now, you know how much I love YouTube!
So, I have already found another great video!
Jake Wilson from the musical web-series, "The Battery's Down",
sang Miley Cyrus' song "Party in the U.S.A.".
Now, I hate Miley Cyrus, and I hate that song,
but Jake does a great job with the song making it fun to watch!

And Alice Ripley is finally back on YouTube!
Oh how I've missed her spontaneous videos :)

Hmm pretty random post haha!

Bye now!

One more thing...

I was at Denny's with my good friends, Josh and Miles, and we decided to watch YouTube videos on Miles' Iphone! And we came upon this video:

This is probably thee funniest (and creepiest) video I had ever seen!
When we watched this at Denny's, we couldn't stop laughing!
So, I thought I share this with you :)

Bye now!

Some Changes

As you can see, my page is a little different. I have been wanting to change for a long time. Well, I finally got to do it and so far I'm liking it. Probably will do some more later this weekend. And I guess this site is going through a little changes as I type this blog. The setup to put a new blog is different now! But anyways, let me know what you all think of my page ;D

Goodness, this week has been a little crazy! Wednesday, I said bye to summer vacation as I was driving to my first day of school for the new school year :/
But, this is my SENIOR YEAR; so it should be pretty cool!
So far my classes are pretty cool, and I'm hoping somehow it stays like that haha! But I am hoping this will be a great year! And, yes, I'm still job searching. Right now I'm applying for H&M. I do hope I get it!

But yeah, random post haha!

Bye now!

Left my heart in N.Y.C.

Well, I have returned from New York City...sadly.
Just kidding :)

I do miss it very much, though;
but it was probably one of the best vacations ever!

Well, here's what has happened.

Saturday:
My dad and i left to JFK Airport, New York.
We got there, and it took about 2 hours to get to our hotel,
because we got lost in the subway system!
But we finally found it, and our view was Ground Zero,
which was pretty cool!
Then, we went to go get some N.Y.C. pizza,
which is AMAZING!
And then some Dunkin' Donuts,
which are the only donuts I can eat!

Sunday:
My dad and I made a quick trip to the
9/11 Memorial Site,
which has pictures of the future plans for Ground Zero.
Also, we went to Trinity Church,
which is very old and famous.
Then, we took a train to New Jersey to
see family of my dad's side.

Monday:
We took a chance to go see the Statue of Liberty
and Ellis Island.
Sadly, you needed reservations to go to the crown :(
After that, we visited the Financial District,
St. Paul's Church, and the famous department
store, Century 21!
Then, it was off to Grand Central Station,
Park Ave., the Empire State Building,
Times Square, and Theatre District!

Tuesday:
My dad and I went to go learn at
The Natural History Museum.
After that, we walked through Central Park;
and apparently Whitney Houston was there
for Good Morning America!
Then, it was FAO Schwatz,
5th Ave., St. Patrick's Church,
and Rockefellar Center.
So, we decided earlier to try the lottery
for West Side Story,
where you can win $26 front row seats.
We did it, and won!!
We saw it and were amazed!
The show is really fantastic, and
I got to get pictures and autographs
from the cast!

Wednesday:
This day, we went to the
Metropolitan Art Museum.
It is absolutely amazing, and is
as good as the Lourve in Paris, France!
We took the subway, afterwards,
to the Bronx, to get tickets
for a tour of the new Yankee Stadium!
After that, we met up with another relative
of my dad's

Thursday:
We went back to Yankee Stadium,
for the tour and it was really cool!
Then went back to Manhattan,
and saw the Flatiron Building,
SoHo/NoHo, and NYU!
We went back to the hotel to relax,
and ended up watching
HBO's Grey Gardens,
with Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange.
And I loved the film; very good!
Then, we went to try the lottery
for In The Heights.
Sadly, we didn't win but got
$41 orchestra seats for that night!
The show was, also, amazing!
Very modern and very true to the Bronx!
And I got to get pictures and autographs from
cast too!

Friday:
My dad and I packed up,
took the train to JFK Airport,
and flew back home to Los Angeles.

Over all, the trip was a blast!
New York City is probably my favorite city
out there!

So, many people there, of course, and a lot
of European tourists too!
And I got to see my first (and 2nd) actual Broadway show!

I'll post another blog with the pictures and video later from my
N.Y.C. trip,
because this blog is really long haha!

Mmmkay bye now!
;D
